The fabric is a mid weight Japanese cotton/linen gingham, the background fabric is a light grey . The fit is generous and features include a scoop neckline, a slight drop shoulder, the sleeve with a cuff sits on or slightly below the elbow and there are side seam pockets.  The gathered skirt attached to the bodice sits at the waist and the length falls below the knee.
