The fabric is a mid weight Japanese  cotton/linen printed fabric. The dress is a great piece for layering a top underneath. The fit is generous and features include a scoop neckline, a slight drop shoulder, the sleeve with a cuff sits on or slightly below the elbow and there are side seam pockets.  The gathered skirt attached to the bodice sits at the waist and the length falls below the knee. Edie is wearing the size 8 and is 173cm tall.
