The fabric is a mid- weight Japanese yarn-dyed cotton. The check is different shades of blue.  The skirt has a separate 5cm elastic waistband to take some of the bulk away for a more flattering look.   There are also side seam  pockets.

FABRIC CARE

Handwash or gentle cold machine wash. Do not tumble dry, instead line dry out of direct sunshine.
